Replacing the Water Filter

Since the refrigerator is down (as I wait for the "start device" part to arrive), I figured I might as well see about replacing it's water/ice maker filter. Took me near an hour to contact the company and find the correct part. Part numbers are different when newer ones replace the originals Arggh!


They wanted 45 dollars and with shipping it was nearing $65.00 for one little filter!
So I passed, and went to my favorite website Amazon. There it was only $22.68 with free shipping.

I LOVE AMAZON!!!

This is the Original at Sears I was told by SearsPartsDirect that they also only have the 'off brand' so the picture is definitely the same as my original, but it's not what you get. So much blarney in sales :-(
