My Neighbor Martha

She lived two blocks over with her daughter who was a couple of years older then me. Martha's daughter died of cancer, then Martha had a mild stroke. She didn't (probably shouldn't) want to live alone. So she is staying with me. She is quite beautiful at 79 years of age.

The New Washer & Dryer

I twisted the artificial flowers around the hot and cold faucet and hoses for camouflage.

So I'm taking advantage of this time before the new washer and dryer are delivered on Monday, with caulking, getting a good tight snug fit on the exhaust tube, it was loose and hanging from the wall a bit, and of course painting!

View from my deck top picture is looking down at the Puget Sound, and the bottom pic is looking straight out to Mt. Rainier. Just to the left are many more boats, but I wanted to get Port Orchard's coastline in the shot.
